In 1995 Alfa Romeo up and left the U.S. claiming poor sales. Much to our surprise at this years New York Auto Show Alfa Romeo had a stand, Where they announced they would be returning to America.
Spearheading Alfa Romeo’s return to the U.S. is the 4C. An Italian super-car. The car will go on sale this summer in selected Fiat and Maserati dealerships. The launch edition will cost around $70,000 it will have high end unique appointments and all 500 will be serialized.
Then in the fall comes the volume seller Priced around $50,000 this car will be readily available to the public.

If that’s not enough to get you going, the new 4C will feature a carbon fiber monocuque, aluminum roof and engine sub frame, Thinner front windshield, and low-density composite material that is 20% lighter and stronger then steel. Inspired by formula one. The Alfa Romeo 4C’s mid engine design will give it one of the necessary super car attributes and the needed balance for race car handling.
The engine will be a direct injection turbocharged and along with the rest of the car will be made in Italy under the watchful eye of a Maserati factory.
Alfa Romeo also hinted that the 4C might just be the beginning to there return to America. Hinting on Two other Models that our available in Europe that could possibly see themselves making there way to the U.S. aswell
